Englewood Florida is home to beautiful beaches, numerous golf courses, interesting parks, and plenty of fishing.

Beaches     

Manasota Beach...free parking, picnic tables, showers and restrooms. This beach is on the northern end of the island with a small parking lot.

Blind Pass Beach... free parking with picnic tables, showers and restrooms. This is the most isolated beach on the key. There's also a nature trail with dunes and wildflowers.

Englewood Beach...The most popular beach on Manasota Key. Parking costs 25 cents per hour from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Picnic tables, basketball, playground, horseshoes, volleyball,showers and restrooms are provided.

Stump Pass Beach...Located at the southern end of Manasota Key. It is truly a gem! Anglers may want to try their luck fishing from the sandy shores, and for the water-lovers, the beach is just waiting for you!

Spring Training Baseball       Located in nearby Ft. Myers (43 miles south)  are the spring training homes of the Boston Red Sox and Minnestoa Twins. Sarasota (36 miles north) is the spring training home of the Cincinnati Reds. And coming in Feb. 2009 The Tampa Bay Rays will be in training the Charlotte County sports park a short 5 mile drive from our rental property.
